Top Web Accessibility tools which will help to determine whether your web content meets W3 recommended Accessibility guideline or not.
- WAVE Browser Extensions : This extension is available for chrome & Firefox. This extension runs entirely within web browser. Not sending any information to server. Easy to use, after installing extension restart your browser , load the page which you want to test for Accessibility and after that click on WAVE Icon available in browser. On left hand side it will generate the report in error , alerts format. For every error tool is providing detailed description by clicking on more information link. - Nu Html Checker : This utility is useful to achieve W3 Accessibility Level A guideline “Parsing”. This online utility will check whether html elements have complete start and end tags, elements are nested according to their specifications, elements do not contain duplicate attributes, and any IDs are unique.
- Accessibility checklist : This link will provide the list of A, AA , AAA level w3 guidelines as well as more information about section 508 for web based content and software applications. Filter options are provided to filter out result based on A, AA , AAA Standards. Also we can filter messages based on warnings, errors & Review. It is very simple to install and use in chrome browser. User Interface for this addon is very user friendly.
